Short Shake-Out Run

Ahhh…flat as a pancake country roads!!!!

My legs are still a little stiff this morning.  I knew I needed to get out on the pavement and shake them out a bit.  The plan was to run a couple miles at an easy pace.  I forgot to pack my HiGo armbands, so I mostly stuck to the roads that went through town.  Plus, I waited until after it was not pitch black outside.

The run was nice.  I was definitely tender in spots.  Somehow, I got stopped at the ONE stop light in town.  How does happen?!?  The weather was perfect!  I would have loved to run more miles, but I knew my legs needed a short recovery run.

Splits: 9:01, 9:21, 4:31

Disney Dopey Challenge 2020 One year ago today, I completed my third marathon, which happened to also be my first Disney Dopey Challenge! (Little did I know that my 2020 racing days were numbered). I am very thankful to be able to say that I “raced” each of my distances last year. Those four distances…
